While he was on patrol April 11th when he spotted some kids, one with a bike problem, stopped and helped.

Remy was totally unaware that a neighbor had snapped a picture of him stopping to assist with the kid’s bike. It was later sent to local media outlets.

Cities that truckers refuse to stop in

Fontana Ca.

First 3 exits off the interstate say NO TRUCKS, get off at next exit and you end up in the left lane. The sign for the truck route is on the right side of the road hidden behind all the traffic.

One block up the cop sits and writes no truck tickets all day long.

 Then you drive 300 miles to be there for the court date(and notice all the trucks in the parking lot), and that day is to set a date for court, not the actual trial.

And then you find that the time to ask for a trial was the 2 hours before court started during the ask for a trail phase.

 If I had the last truckload of food and Fontana was starving, I would park the truck on the overpass and burn it to the ground.

West Valley detention center(the jail) has over 20,000 excessive use of force complaints. However, when the attorneys subpoena the footage from inside the jail, the cameras weren't working that day.

Only thing worse than the Fontana PD are the San Bernardino County Sheriffs. They once took like 45 minutes to respond to my call of an attempted rape in progress on the side of the road.

Lodi CA has the same setup in town and at the I5/HWY 12 interchange.

 1 st time i got pulled over was at the hyw12 interchange, cop said no right on red, there where no signs on the off ramp, tried to fight it in court with pics/proof, nope. $712 fine and $200 in "fees".

then i got pulled over 1 month later on the east side of hwy12 near 99 and was told i was doing 49 in a 35, show up on court date with everyone else busted by the same cop, guess what? everyone had a 49 in a 35.

 think the courts would dismiss it? fucking nope. got nailed with a $500 fine and another $672 in "fees". no lawyer would fucking touch it. miss a payment by a day? ohh there courts where on that shit and had your licence suspended by the next day with no notification besides the DMV sending you a letter that didn't arrive till 3 weeks after it was suspended.

Waldo and Hampton, Florida, there were tons of official "Speed Strictly Enforced" warning signs and even horizontal striping painted on the road with increasingly narrow gaps so you'd feel like you were driving faster than you were and want to slow down.

There was a town like that here in Indiana. Completely reserve police force. My former boss worked there part time. Was told explicitly to target out of state and counties as far away. If they got caught giving warnings to cars from more than an hour a way, they would get written up for "dereliction of duty" .

Camden County sort of did this. The Camden PD was so awful it was disbanded and Camden is now 'patrolled' by Camden County police. Except there are streets the cops won't even respond to without like three cars.

North Charleston police officer's attorney states that the cop " believes he followed all the proper procedures and policies of the North Charleston Police Department" when shooting unarmed traffic stop suspect, in the back, more than 5 times, as he ran away

North Charleston, South Carolina, police officer Michael Slager who shot and killed Walter "Lamar" Scott in the back Saturday April 4th 2015, was formally charged with murder this evening April 7th.

At the time of this shooting, Scott was wanted for arrest on a Family Court warrant, Charleston County sheriff’s Maj. Eric Watson said Tuesday.

 He had a history of arrests related to contempt of court charges for failing to pay child support. The only accusation of violence against Scott during his lifetime came through an assault and battery charge in 1987.  http://www.postandcourier.com/article/20150407/PC16/150409468

The police incident report states that Slager called in a traffic stop for a broken taillight, and then advised officers that he was in a foot pursuit of the driver of the vehicle.

Slager then said he had deployed his Taser and requested backup units to the scene, according to the police report.

The footage filmed by a bystander, was the first piece of evidence contradicting an account Slager gave earlier this week through his attorney. http://www.postandcourier.com/article/20150407/PC16/150409468

"The video is very demonstrative of exactly what happened," Mayor R. Keith Summey said. "Without the video, and that was the only witness there was, it would be difficult to ascertain directly what did occur." ( He can't trust or believe the police reports of his police department )

In the above New York Times video, Slager shoots Scott, then goes back to the intial scuffle area, picks up something, brings it to where Scott is laying on the ground, and drops it. Looks like the taser.

In a statement tonight, Gov. Nikki Haley said, "We have many good law enforcement officers in the field. What happened in this case is not acceptable in South Carolina, nor is it reflective of our values"

But it's clear that his fellow police did not arrest Slager for his actions. It's clear the Mayor doesn't trust the police in his own city, nor their police reports.

Once again, anytime you see police, get your camera or video recording. You're only as safe as the evidence you collect. Its the only evidence of the truth, and cops can't be trusted. Or prove me wrong someday. Not today, but someday, I hope you can.

During the 21/2 minutes after the shooting until the end of the video, the backup officer lifts up Scott’s shirt to check his wounds.

 But no one starts CPR. The police have said, though, that they tried desperately to save Scott until paramedics showed up. Obviously, they lied again.

1st Slager lies that he felt his life was in danger, and was his reason to shoot and kill Scott.
2nd that CPR was done, when video proves it wasn't
3rd when Slager swore an oath of office "never employing unnecessary force or violence"

Asked whether the proper protocols were followed after the shooting, Chief Driggers said, “Obviously not.”

Mayor Summey said he had issued an executive order that all of the department’s police officers start wearing body cameras — a tacit acknowledgment of the importance video played in this case.

Slager signed his oath of office" with the police force on March 1, 2010, pledging to "faithfully serve the citizens of this city" and "never abuse my authority either by words or acts."

 "I will enforce the law courteously and appropriately without fear or favor, malice, or ill will, never employing unnecessary force or violence," the oath said.

Slager was named in a police complaint in 2013 after he allegedly "tased a man for no reason" before slamming him to the ground and dragging him, according to the North Charleston Police Department.

At the time, Slager was searching for a suspect who was described as being 5 feet 5 inches tall. The man he confronted was 6-foot-3.

If the family of Walter Scott had waited until after the police concluded their investigation, and filed the report... we wold have the proof of police covering up for murder. The entire event is tragic, and nothing can downplay this murder. But bringing the video evidence to the public after all the police were done with their nonsense "investigation" would have proved what integrity the police of North Charleston have, or do not.

It is "Distracted Driver Awareness Month" and cops are getting into action (what do they do the other 11 months a year?)

Chula Vista, a district of San Diego, on the South side of the city, has it's own police force, and yesterday they waited until 4pm for rush hour to begin, and then they began looking into vehicles for texting, distracted driving via holding phones up to ears, and seat belt violations.

In 6 hours, they had stopped 140 cars, wrote out tickets to 65 people driving while on the phone, 45 for texting while driving, and 18 for vehicle code violations like tinted windows and non functioning brake lights, and 2 people for drivers licenses expired.

This was the first of a weekly effort in the month of April, to take one day a week to focus on doing their job relative to the traffic section of the laws they are supposed to be paying attention to. What they do the other 48 weeks a year, well, that wasn't a question that the news dept of Fox 5 asked.

The California Office of Traffic Safety, the California Highway Patrol, local police departments, the county sheriff’s department and other law enforcement agencies planned to ramp up their efforts to prevent distracted driving throughout the month.

CNN) — A New York police detective assigned to the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force with top-secret security clearance has been placed on modified assignment, and faces suspension, reassignment or loss of his clearance after an incident with an Uber driver Monday that was captured on video, officials said.

 Police Commissioner William Bratton on Wednesday said the detective was placed on modified assignment pending an investigation. Bratton, who called the officer’s behavior “unacceptable and discourteous,” said the detective was on duty at the time.

“There’s just no place for any public servant to use discriminatory or negative language,” he said. “Obviously, our police play a particularly sensitive role and need to show respect for all people.”

The findings will be presented to the board, which will make an official determination on whether misconduct was committed, Sachs said. The board will either refer the decision to the NYPD with a disciplinary recommendation, or decide to bring up the officer with administrative charges, with the decision presented to the police commissioner. CNN’s Carolyn Sung contributed to this report.
